#2 - The Solar System
Mar/Apr 2006

On a clear night, there’s nothing better than looking up at a twinkling, shining sky. In this issue of KNOW, we’re blasting off into space to take a closer look at stars, planets, moons, and much, much more. Our friends, Knowlton and Knowella, have taken a trip through space and they share their scrapbook with us. You’ll also meet a scientist who studies Mars (but, for now at least, she studies it from Earth) and learn how to make your own rocket. When you need a snack break you can make a solar system fruit salad. As usual, KNOW is filled with the latest science news, games, puzzles, and, our favourite thing, pictures and poems from readers like you! Are you ready? 3, 2, 1, ... blast off!
