#13 - Australian Animals
Jan/Feb 2007
You've probably heard of kangaroos and koalas, but have you ever heard of bandicoots or wallabies or Tasmanian Devils? They are all animals from Australia and in this issue of KNOW, we're heading "Down Under" to check out these animals, and many more. Along the way you'll meet a man who is trying to save populations of Tasmanian Devils and you can take a puzzle break on the KNOW Fun pages to play around in a coral reef. And just in time for Groundhog Day (February 2nd) you'll meet some real life groundhogs. Hungry? Make yourself a peanut butter sandwich and tell your parents it's a science experiment -- you can read up on the science of this nut that's not really a nut on page 6. This issue of KNOW is finger licking good!
