Discover the Stars

Ages: 6 to 8

Life on Earth is made possible by the light of a star, the Sun. Compared with other stars, the Sun isn’t really that big. It just seems large because it is so close to Earth. The Sun is just one of the “gazillions” of stars in space. There are so many stars you could spend the rest of your life counting and still not count them all! This book is a great place to start if you’re curious about nature’s twinkling night lights.

This is a good book about space. I loovvee space!!! The reading level was a bit too easy for me, but I still learned a lot. I learned that astronauts fixed the Hubble Space Telescope. I liked the pictures of the young and old stars and of the supernova. I also liked the part where it says the stars look like a connect-the-dot puzzle. I had fun reading this book and there’s no way I would change anything. I would give it a score of 8 out of 10.
