There are very few animals in the world that let people ride on their backs. Horses, of course, are one of them. And, do people ever love them. But you might have a lot of questions about horses, too. Do they really sleep standing up? What are manes for? This book answers these and dozens of other horsey questions. It’s perfect for horse lovers, young and old.

This book was very interesting, and I liked it very much. I really liked the photographs the author used to demonstrate the different types of horses in this book. I learned a lot about horses. For example, a star is a small white mark positioned on the horse’s forehead, and you can tell a horse’s age by its teeth. You don’t have to be a horse lover to like this book. I’d give it a 9 out of 10.
