Gonk the toad and Beezy the lizard are having a contest to see who can make the best graphs. With their friend Chester prodding them along, the pair makes colourful graphs of everyday things. Everything is fair game for their math mania, from who likes mud to whether their friends prefer swimsuits with flowers or bugs! They display their results in colourful diagrams and graphs. The Great Graph Contest tells you how to make your own graphs, too.

I thought this book looked good. We are doing graphs in math at school and I love math. I liked the different kinds of graphs that Gonk and Beezy made for the contest. I learned how to make good graphs. At home, I made a graph showing how many of my dinosaurs have spikes. There were lots of great, fun pictures in this book. I would tell my friends this is a goofy and fun story where you get to learn about graphs. I would give it a score of 8 out of 10.
