Kids around the world are always asking who, what, why, when, and how questions. Smart-opedia is full of answers. This colourful, jammed full book is divided into nine chapters, from Astronomy to Today’s World. Information bubbles, mini biographies, timelines, FAQs, and other features liven up the pages and deliver information in a variety of ways. It’s a great book to dip in and out of — keep it in the car or on your bedside table.

The cover’s font and drawings are attractive to kids and made me want to look inside and read right away. The book is like an encyclopedia. I learned lots of new things. For example, there are only 70 Spix’s macaws in the world, but they only live in captivity. I always wanted to keep reading the book when it was time to do something else. I really liked the Know-It-All News, a pretend newspaper that always had an article and an advertisement related to a topic. I think kids who like information-type books will enjoy Smart-opedia.
