Each spring, thousands of grey whales make the long swim from Mexico to the Arctic Ocean. By late summer, they’re swimming south again. This is called migration. Whales migrate, and so do lemmings, butterflies, and salmon. In Animals Migrating, you’ll learn how smell, the Sun, stars, weather, and even magnetism, help animals find their way.
Animals Migrating includes instructions for five activities that add understanding to the text.

This is a great book about animals migrating. It has cool pictures and maps, and some experiments, too. I really like artwork and drawing animals, so I really liked the big, colourful pictures. I learned a lot. One thing I learned was how smart, helpful people help salamanders to not get run over by making tunnels for them. The experiments were fun. We didn’t have time to do them all, but we will do them sometime. I like experiments. I would give this book a score of 10 out of 10.
