Street art against deforestation: As founder of the Street Art 2.0 project, French artist and photographer Philippe Echaroux has devloped an evolution of street art that is technological and ecological in form. Instead of working with spray cans and brushes, Echaroux has used the projection of large images as a means of expression. This is seen in his latest work on the Amazon forest where he projected lights and images onto the trees of the forest and then photographed them as magnificent night-time pictures. The result is a beautiful story made up of portraits that narrate the relationship between local populations and the forest in which they live.
