Contemporary visual culture

You are about to leaf through THE ITALIAN TOUCH #22 and see how strength and innovative ideas are needed at the beginning of every season. This edition presents the Kemon 2017/2018 Autumn/Winter Hair Fashion Collection, photographed entirely in London with the focus on the two areas chosen for the shoots: Shoreditch and Camden, Bond and Oxford Street.

Innovative and multi-ethnic London is presented alongside the more glamorous and fashionable side of the city, providing inspiration to keep you up-to-date with future trends for the season. This can be seen in the second part of the magazine dedicated to in-depth feature stories: the magnificent architectures of the Philipp Plein flagship store in London, the clean lines of the Dry By salon, the ingenious illustrations of Hugo Yashikawa, the seasonal selection of the most interesting objects, and the splendid works created by the four hands of twins Alfonso and Nicola Vaccari.

Behind this issue of THE ITALIAN TOUCH are six months of studies, editorial work, and in-depth analysis of trends by our styling team. Ideas must evolve, but our goal remains always the same, to contribute to elevating the perception of hair stylists so they are recognised and respected for what they are: style and beauty professionals.

Happy reading.
