Today is the closing day of the Milan Men’s Fashion Week, which, on increasingly unisex runways, presented the offerings for Spring Summer 2018. Many trends and suggestions and two prompts above all with regards to hair fashion.
Ermenegildo Zegna presents a very soft and easy collection, in which the colours of the land dominate, interrupted by flashes of blue. “The look is very grown up – explains Mauro Galzignato, Creative Director of Collections for The Italian Touch – in the sense that the hairstyles look regrown after a good cut done a while ago, pushed high up and apparently without products. In reality, the look is constructed precisely thanks to products that give texture while giving freedom of movement to the hair, such as Dry Shampoo or Freeshape by Hair Manya”.
The world of Marcelo Burlon is almost antithetical, pushing the accelerator on streetwear with items stolen from the sporting wardrobe, technical fabrics and primary colours. “The hairstyles, in this case, show great versatility – Mauro tells us – passing from shaved looks to boxer-style hip hop braids also for the men, pushed-up decolouration, or strands like coloured brush-strokes that tie the clothes and hair together”.
