Vynil Mania / Welcome back record player

Beyond the pure aesthetics, the sound produced by the needle on the vinyl grooves is unmatched

Welcome back turntable, although it was not really ever gone. Patients remained in the living rooms and bedrooms, which have been waiting sly binge of new technologies to subside, and in the end they were right. Beyond the pure aesthetics, that in itself would be enough to desire for one, the sound produced by the needle that moves on the vinyl grooves is unmatched. For older there is also the taste of a return to the past, those legendary 60s and 70s during which the vinyls were the ambassadors of new sounds and new ways of thinking and making music. And unlike the immaterial Mp3, hidden in the depths of the computer, disks era continue to run with their loads of Beatles, Abba, Grateful Dead. Beware though, the turntable is still the same. From an apparently unchanged, the new models are packed with technology and performance.

There are companies that are dedicated exclusively to this, as the Florentine Goldnote, which manufactures turntable 120 pounds, the state of the art in listening. Pins hundred euro, little scales for electronic calibration of the weight of the arm of the record player, speakers and amplifiers specifically designed to get the most out of vinyl. Furthermore the turntable fits today to new technologies: there are examples that can encode and record sound in digital format. Or small mangiadischi high performance, wearable and trendy.

The same record companies have started to let out vinyl albums to advertise new releases. And legions of fans that fill online forums and flea markets are always looking for goodies. Also because it is said that the vinyl once sound better. There is no research on this, but we like to think that playing is not only the pin, but as long as it is deposited between a groove and the other.
